Since I have only used it once so far, I can't comment on the longevity, but did a great job. I've owned this grinder for 1 1/2 years. I grind whole chicken with no problem for my dogs. all chicken bones have gone thru with no problems. You must be really cold meat and cut it up to proper size. I just got thru 6 Split breasts and thighs grinding 8-10 without problems. I land in frozen green beans with chicken and that there was no problem. I take off all the skin so if you tried to rectify that I have no idea what would happen. 31/07/14.

I also put through a pound of beef with lots of tendons and sinews and this grinder did the job very well. the machining of the scroll is very roughly machined surface is very irregular spiral on its contours, but the outer rim that spiral chute chainlink well enough.
